LORETO, MX (April 16, 2012) — Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto, Baja California South, Mexico the newest luxury resort from the Villa Group, has partnered with Cal Jet Air to provide additional flights to meet travel demand. Beginning on April 21, 2012, the privately held airline will begin non-stop, round trip service from Los Angeles International (LAX) to the Islands of Loreto, Baja California South, Mexico (LTO). Meals will be offered in both its First Class and Comfort Class aboard CalJet’s spacious Boeing 737-400 fleet.
“We’re excited about this new direct flight from LAX to the Islands of Loreto, because it will give our guests an additional air service option in a larger plane that offers meal service,” said Owen Perry, one of the partners of The Villa Group. “Adding the Saturday flight will help meet the increasing travel demand to the Islands of Loreto, Mexico, a New York Times Top-10 travel destination.”
The departure time of 2 p.m. also allows easy transfers with enough time for those connecting in to Los Angeles from other feeder cities throughout the West Coast up through Canada, plus Arizona, Nevada and Texas. The first three flights offer incredibly low introductory pricing. Rates for roundtrip airfare from LAX-Islands of Loreto (LTO) -LAX have been set as follows:
- April 21st & 28th and May 5th travelers will get a “Special Introductory Price” of USD $399.00 for Comfort Class and $599.00 first class (plus fees and taxes), with a reduction of $100 for an additional person.
- May 12th forward, travelers will get the “Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto Grand Opening Price” of $499.00 for Comfort and $699.00 First Class (plus fees and taxes)
Flights are on Saturdays only:
- LAX – Islands of Loreto (LTO), depart 2 p.m., arrive 5:15 p.m.
- Islands of Loreto (LTO) – LAX, depart 6:15 p.m., arrive 7:15 p.m.
