SPI to Sponsor ARDA Educational Sessions
Miami, FL (February 15, 2012) — Timeshare technology leader SPI Software announced they will be Educational Sponsors for the 2012 American Resort Development Association (ARDA) World Convention being held at the Venetian in Las Vegas, April 1 through 5. According to Bob Craycraft, ARDA’s vice president of industry relations, the other Educational Sponsors are Baker & Hostetler LLP, Capital One, First American Title Insurance, Holiday Systems International (HSI) and Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corp.
“We are gratified to have SPI Software’s support for our educational programming,” says Craycraft. “With more than three decades of experience in vacation ownership technology solutions, SPI Software has a breadth of knowledge that has been invaluable.”
“SPI Software – an ARDA Trustee member – has supported the annual conventions each year by sending speakers, hosting a display booth in the Exhibit Hall and through various other sponsorships and efforts for more than 25 years,” says SPI Vice President Matt Brosious. “For example, SPI will be represented this year at ARDA’s expo with a 20-foot by 20-foot display booth. In addition, I will be speaking at an educational session entitled, ‘IT Values and Visions.’ As a technology company, we recognize the value of ARDA’s educational efforts. There is no other resource so specifically oriented toward educating and supporting the shared ownership industry.”
The American Resort Development Association (ARDA) is the Washington D.C.-based professional association representing the vacation ownership and resort development industries. Established in 1969, ARDA today has almost 1,000 members ranging from privately held firms to publicly traded companies and international corporations with expertise in shared ownership interests in leisure real estate. The membership also includes timeshare owner associations (HOAs), resort management companies, and owners through the ARDA Resort Owners Coalition (ARDA-ROC).
